Video Premiere: Red Axes – Musica Electronique

Tel Aviv duo Red Axes' new multimedia project "Trips" combines music, film and travelling across the globe in pursuit of new collaborations. The emphasis is on recording local musicians and indigenous instruments, as well as running workshops for youth music schools.

Time spent in Ethiopia and Ivory Coast last year has yielded the In Africa EP, home to three slices of contemporary body music with both East and West African musical motifs. We're very happy to be premiering the video for 'Musica Electronique', which features squelchy afrofunk synths and energetic vocals courtesy of students from Abidjan's Insaac Music School.
