Premiere: Torom – Oak Tones

Crisp, brown leaves covered the ground throughout the woods; a beautiful autumnal carpet that would soon be swept away by the cold temperatures. There was something about this time of year that comforted them. Perhaps it was the freshness of the air that filled their lungs, or the beautiful tones of the bare oak trees that navigated their path home. Whatever it was, in these moments, the world felt peaceful and undisturbed.
For their sophomore release, International Extraterrestrial Music welcome Torom to the label for a five-track EP centred around organic rhythms. Limited to just 200 copies, the release —which follows the label’s inaugural outing last year from Herb LF— blends earthy, wooden textures with fourth world atmospheres, layered over a sturdy foundation of rolling drums.
