Premiere: Samuel Sharp – Pushing Swings

The old metal frame creaked and groaned as the seat rocked back and forth whilst the rain tumbled down from the thick grey clouds up above. There he was, pushing swings again beneath the dark murky sky. He stood in the wet grass and looked down at his soggy feet as he watched the swing rock eagerly from side to side, in the distance he could hear the birds chirping down by the canal. Stood in the mist, he was lost in a daze.

Samuel Sharp is an old friend of Ransom Note – he is set to release a minimalist new album showcasing his talent as a saxophonist. The result is a subtle collection of ambient jazz inspired excursions which also touches upon elements of electronica. Delicate easy listening for dark nights and cold mornings.
