They were everywhere, tall and intrusive. The forest was thick and dense, you could barely see six feet forward but for the ominous presence of the trees. Their smell hung thick in the air and as the night began to fall the woods became spooky and wild. He sat in his tent, looking out upon the clearing in which his fire burnt brightly. It was all that was giving him any hope that he might escape from the never-ending sea of endless trees. His prison for the night…
