Premiere: Marzian – Sagrado (Timothy Clerkin Remix)

A weathered road sign signalled the way to the nearest village, it’s writing barely legible after years of neglect. The path, bordered by thick unkept grass, winded down to the foot of the hill. This was no destination, nobody had visited this place in decades. Outsiders weren’t welcome here. Clusters of small thatched houses dotted the landscape surrounding a towering church. Day-in-day-out the people of the village would visit this building to worship and pray, but they were guided by their own beliefs and values, by their own god. This was their sacred place, yet their idea of what is sacred was far from the conventions of society.

Timothy Clerkin exercises his remix skills once again, this time for Barcelona via Buenos Aires collective and label Playground Records. He steps up to rework Brasilian producer Marzian, who returns to the label for his second release following the introspective wave of his 2017 debut Bien Turro
