The shop would be open late into the small hours. Behind the counter he watched the fluorescent glow of the courtyard outside become nothing but a mere fuzz amidst the black expanse. Sat behind the cash register he wondered how many other people were in the same position as he was right now, if they felt him and understood the density of the night. Work was nothing but tiresome and draining but soon he would be able to drive free from this place. Feel me.
