There were some shadows which stood by the water across the way, amidst the tall grass and the long flowers they watched with a distant stare as the boat moved upon the waves. Strangers by the lake were unsettling for several reasons – nobody was supposed to know that they were here hidden away from watch yet alone spot them at the edge of the water.
