Premiere: Alexander Arpeggio & Marlene Stark – Fitnessstudio

In the fitness studio a lycra-clad, sweat band-adorned crowd readied themselves to sweat away the stresses of the day. In single file they made their way into the room, greeted by the loud vibrations reverbarating from the speakers in each corner. The windows of the room slowly began to cloud up as bodies began to writhe around the room, losing control in time to the rhythms of the music. There was never any clock watching during these sessions, this was a different kind of work out.

The second instalment of the Sameheads’ bi-annual compilation series puts the spotlight on the artists who frequent the Berlin-based "bar/club/playground/space/collective/cult/whatever’s musical mavericks". The EP features tracks from An-i, Franz Scala, Alexander Arpeggio & Marlene Stark, Epsilove & Ohlandy, Anklepants and Umlaut! who deliver a bunch of oddball bangers.
