First Listen: Teleseen – Temporada De Seca

Next month marks the release of the 5th album from Gabriel Cyr AKA Teleseen which is forthcoming on Goldmin Music on the 4th of May. A complex array of electronic escapades blended alongside international references and influence. He describes the release as follows: 

“Working on this record I finally found myself able to manifest a certain sound I’d been hearing in my head for years, combining the rhythmic intensity of afro-house and afro-Brazilian music with the more cosmic sounds of Detroit and deep house”

Gabriel is a producer and disc jockey who has cut his teeth for many years acting as the resident at the Brooklyn based party Africanoir. This paired alongside New York pirate radio and studio life has helped him form a beautiful musical personna which is hard to pigeonhole.
