Sutja’s Metaphysical Circus #10

Music

The very nature of being is not something which we often compute. We often spend far too much time looking at computers in the first place, forgetting ourselves and the very meaning of our own existence upon this small planet. From time to time it can be a beautiful concept to revisit our sense of self. Sutja is here to help you do just that as he delivers the latest installment of his metaphysical playlist series. Below you have two options, stream the journey in its entirety or simply dip in and out of an indivisual moment. Enter the circus below…

Smokey And His Sister - Would You Come Home

Sweet folky ballad made by the sibilings Viki and
Larry Smokey Mims. Viki died from cancer in 2006 and Larry is
actually living somewhere in the south of USA.

  • Smokey And His Sister - Would You Come Home

  • Mulatu Astatke - Fikratchin With Menelik Wossenatchew

The godfather of Ethio-Jazz brings one of the most
interesting pieces i’ve ever heard. Take a seat and enjoy it.

  • Cheval Fou - La Fin De La Vie...

Cheval Fou has only five years of activity (1970-
1975) but, in 1994 Legend Music decided to release an album
made of live shows fragments, studio rehearsals and some
other documents. Such an interesting piece of art.

  • Greenslade - Siam Seesaw

English prog-rock band formed in 1972 by some
members of Colosseum, Samurai and King Crimson. In 2000
former member Dave Greenslade reunited the band and
recorded a few albums… Time travelers!

  • " Atlantis " - It's Getting Better!

This German band had many different members but
the beautiful voice of Inga Rumpf stayed with them in every
single album they recorded. Thank god!

  • Luboš Fišer - The Magic Yard

One of the greatest composers of all time! This
piece is taken from the beautiful film Valerie and Her Week of
Wonders. Do yourself a favor and watch it, please.

  • The Cyrkle - It's A Lovely Game Louise

Taken also from a very peculiar film called The Minx
that includes prostitutes, business men’s and a lot of sweet
vengeance. The entire soundtrack is made by The Cyrkle, a
sixties american band discovered by Brian Epstein.

  • Tanga - Eme N'Gongo Iami

This song is included in a beautiful compilation
called Soul Of Angola released by Lusafrica in 2001. Many good
    stuff in there!
