Influences: Nicola Cruz

In 2015 we were first introduced to a producer and musician who captured an ethereal vision of a futuristic utopia, he channeled personal influences rooted in culture and history through a unique musical channel. Nicola Cruz has been busy ever since having appeared at the likes of Sonar, Berghain and beyond: he has released music via the likes of Multi Culti, ZZK Records, The Magic Movement and Wonderwheel.
He has an incredible talent for layering textures, dynamic percussion and the result is often magic and transcendent. His live show has captured the imagination and there are few who can claim to rival his technical capability when it comes to the presentation of performance.
We invited him to select some influential pieces in the formation of his own outlook.

Nicola will release a new EP on ZZK in January, more details HERE.
