Weird Weather make up first release on new label Whip+Lash
The duo have recorded three tracks of slow moving rugged electronics which draws upon dubbed out influences and IDM. At times a difficult listen, in all the right ways, the EP is set for release on the newly launched record label Whip+Lash run by Claire from SOUVENIR. The imprint has been described as a "label for spirited, off-centre electronic music on the borders of industrial, dub, wave and bass."
The new EP is called "Tongue Drum" and is a rough and rugged assortment of electronics which is somewhat removed from their previous ventures on the likes of Going Good and Emotional Especial.
The release will be available on 12" later this month.
