Virginia To Release New Album On Ostgut Ton

There are two halves to Virginia – there's Virginia the experienced DJ and longstanding Panorama Bar resident, and then there's Virginia the vocalist/producer/songwriter.

Co-produced by Dutch artists Dexter, Martyn and Steffi, her new album Fierce For The Night is a thrilling blend of these two sides, rooted in club culture but focused on Virginia's songwriting, and touching on everything from house and disco to UK garage and drum & bass.

The latest chapter in her deep involvement with electronic music, the album focuses on what Virginia describes as "club culture's basic principles: found and lost love, frenzy and extreme emotions."

It's preceded by the ltd white label 12" Funkert / Raverd – out tomorrow – which you can stream snippets of below.

Fierce For The Night is out 27 May on Ostgut Ton. That's the cover art below, along with the live tour dates, where Virginia will be joined by Steffi and Dexter.
