Unknown Archetype Announce New Ep

Unknown Archetype, the collaborative project between Roxy Tripp and Oliver Kucera, have announced a new EP, due out on 27 January via R&S Records.

The Tripp EP, a conceptual venture into “Jungian psychology, archetypal symbolism and mythology”, is a feast of unrelenting industrial techno with clamorous percussion, and jarring vocal cuts.

The duo has also unveiled a video to coincide with the three track EP’s title cut. The visual accompaniment, by Denial of Service, is a gnarled, gritty, black and white sketching of intimacy. It makes for a visceral accompaniment to the track’s ferocity blended with eerie spoken lines comparable to Kelly Lee Owens or Factory Floor. “I can feel people’s thoughts. We’re all really the same.”

Tracklist:

A – Voyeurism

B1 – Tripp

B2 – The Serpent
