Unheard Frankie Knuckles single released by DJ International

The longstanding, prolific record label DJ International has unveiled a new track by the late, great house pioneer Frankie Knucles as part of a new compilation featuring seven singles. 

Frankie Knuckles remains to this day, one of the most definitive figures in house music having been an integral part of the Chicago house music scene and its rise to prominence and recognition in the 80’s and 90’s. His death in 2014 was met with international mourning, his memory honoured and recognised far beyond dance and electronic music circles. 

Now a new single, titled “Carefree”, has just been released by the label as part of a new compilation titled “Jackmaster 7” and is streaming online.
