Tribe Called Quest Film Premiere
November sees the UK Premiere of 'Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest', a new film telling the story of one of the most influential groups in the early days of Hip Hop.
The screening takes place on November the 22nd is accompanied by a live performance from Phife Dawg, one of the groups founding members.
For some reason, the film was put together by Michael Rapaport aka Phoboe's Cop boyfriend from Friends, aka that guy from True Romance, aka 'star' of American s(h)itcom 'The War at Home', so watching him try to interact with the likes of Mary J. Blige, Ludacris and Pharrell Williams for 90 minutes is probably worth the admission fee alone.
The event at Koko has sold out, but you can still get tickets for the screening the day after at Cargo here.
