Super Furrys Side Project Deliver Wonky Pop Magic

Music

Gulp is the project of Super Furries Animals man Guto Pryce, alongside singer Lindsey Leven. They've recorded a new EP for the discerning folk at Sonic Cathedral, and very nice it is too. First seeing release as a limited edition tape on September 27th (as part of Cassette Store Day, retro heads), the ‘I Want To Dance’ EP will be available through digital download mediums on October 13. The lead track is a reworking taken from the duo's debut album 'Season Son', and is well worth a moment of your time – taking the drifting pastoral psyche of Super Furries and applying it to classic French pop, Gulp create a languid, tré cool haze of sun dappled arpeggios and breathy vocals.
