Stuart Patterson To Open Record Shop In East London

It's always a pleasure to be able to report a record shop opening, rather than another 10 closing. Love Vinyl is a new vinyl outlet coming to East London, backed by Stuart 'Faith' Patterson, along with James Manero (owner of renowned Dalston hang out Manero's), Zafar Chowdhry (former head of Soho's Reckless Records) and Jake Holloway (owner of Walthamstow's Village Vinyl). The shop will be specialising in house, techno and disco re-edits, as well as having a dedicated counter catering to 'vintage' (we used to call that shit 'second hand'…) reggae, jazz and soul. The store is set to open on June 14th, although we've no details of any sort of special opening shenanigans as yet. It's located on Pearson Street, Hoxton E2, roughly half way between Shoreditch and Dalston. For more info head over to the Love Vinyl facebook page.
