Secret Solstice Announces First Wave Of Line-Up

The third edition of Secret Solstice Festival has announced its first round of acts, featuring its first major headliner, Icelandic natives Of Monsters And Men. The festival will take place in Iceland’s capital city Reykjavík on June 17-19, 2016, which is the summer solstice weekend.

The initial line-up announcement arrives alongside the ice cool news that the world’s only party in a glacier returns once more to the party where the sun never sets (that’s 72 hours of daylight). Quite the unique setting.

The first wave of DJs and electronic acts looks promising and includes the legendary Kerri Chandler who returns after playing the first festival in 2014, Futureboogie favourite Maxxi Soundsystem and Aus Music associates Will Saul and Youandewan. Also on the bill are Deetron, Droog and double act Benoit & Sergio.

Elsewhere among the live acts are Birmingham-born rapper Lady Leshurr, Icelandic reggae band Amabadama and local composer/multi-instrumentalist Högni Egilsson.
