RVNG INTL to release archive material of k. Leimer

RVNG Intl are to release a compilation of the music of 1970s/80s Canadian composer K. Leimer.
Leimer was a cult figure in his adopted city of Seattle’s music scene – where he released his music through his own Palace of Lights label, and his music – mainly abstract ambient tape experiments – now sound very much ahead of their time.
The compilation, entitled – A Period of Review (Original Recordings: 1975 1983) features a whopping 30 tracks from Leimer’s archive, most of which was taken from the early 80s and in particular a cassette Leimer released on Palace of Lights called Installation View.
RVNG Intl will release A Period of Review (Original Recordings: 1975 1983) on May 13th.
