Penelope Trappes Of The Golden Filter Signs To Houndstooth

Penelope Trappes, lead vocalist of The Golden Filter, has signed to venerable London-based label Houndstooth and announced her second solo album Penelope Two, slated for release on October 26th. Following just a year behind 2017's Penelope One, this new record "was built around field recordings, mantras and meditations. Emptying my mind of clutter, I explored writing with guitars and synth drones, along with piano and reverb, to create depth and texture", says Trappes.
