New J Dilla Rarities Compilation Announced

J Dilla's mother, Maureen "Ma Dukes" Yancey, has compiled a collection of rare and unreleased instrumentals from her son.

The late, great J Dilla is widely regarded as one of the greatest Hip-Hop producers of our time and his mother has made it her mission to preserve her son's legacy.

'Motor City' is conceived as a letter to her late son, with both the CD and Vinyl encased in a brown envelope, addressed to her son with a handwritten letter from Ma Dukes to J Dilla inside.

The compilation is due for release on 21st April and the LP will contain a download code for an exclusive mix of the album from Dilla's longtime friend J Rocc.
