Spring almost in the air? Well almost.
Must mean Field Day 2014 is getting close! Today the festival have announced the very excellent Neneh Cherry will be gracing the Victoria Park stage with her presence on Saturday 7th June.
Soundtrack to many of our childhoods (ok yes we are that old) she’s back firing on all cylinders with her first new album for 17 years with Rocketnumbernine. The album’s been produced by a Mr Kieran ‘Four Tet’ Hebden. You may have heard of him.
As well as a performer, Cherry has established herself as a DJ and broadcaster. Cherry who plays a sold out show in London this week will join the likes of Erol Alkan, Daniel Avery, and many others at this year’s festival.
