Miss Kittin & The Hacker To Release Previously Unheard Material From The Late Nineties

Music

The pair are set to release a new EP titled "Lost Tracks Vol. 2" on Dark Entries in June later this year. The release features four cuts from the pair which were originally lost to the depths of time and are thought to have been recorded between 1997 and 1999 some twenty years ago. The long time collaborators made use of analog hardware in order to produce what they describe as a 'demo tape' with the likes of the Korg MS-20, Roland SH-101, TR-606, TR-808, Siel DK80, and Boss DR-660 drum machine all appearing on the release. The EP is an intricate take on the pairs influences at the time which ranged between everything from new wave to the forward thinking electro of Dopplereffekt and Le Car. Miss Kittin describes the ep as follows:

“We were naive, innocent, adventurous and we didn’t expect anything in return”

The EP will be available from the 6th of June.
