Mike Q And Dj Sliink Collabo 12″ Out Now

Justly hyped LA label Fade to Mind have finally released the collaboration between Mike Q and DJ Sliink. Q is known for his updating of the New York ballroom sound, producing vogue tracks scattershot with yelping vocal percussion and vicious tin lid snares. Sliink is at the forefront of the Jersey Club scene, where his prolific uptempo remixes of the likes of Damian Marley and Kanye West force urban hooks back onto the rave killers in a way not seen since the golden age of UK hardcore.   

The two cuts the duo have come up with for Fade to Mind combine elements of Jersey and Ballroom with unsurprisingly rough edged results –
