MARCUS WORGULL ANDDANILO PLESSOW to release album on Kompakt

Kompakt have just announced the release of the debut album by Vermont, a new project combining the talents of Innervisions’ Marcus Worgull and Danilo Plessow (aka Motor City Drum Ensemble). The album, to be released on March 17th, will be a full-length self-titled LP that sees both men appear on the Kompakt label for the first time.

Vermont will apparently represent a more mature approach from the duo which emerged from a series of loose jam sessions. Expect to hear plenty of vintage analogue synths on the record, creating a variety of soundscapes that hold potential for some authentic krautrock sounds. We’re excited.
