Lory D Drops Some Heady House On Numbers

Glaswegian trail blazers Numbers are kicking off 2015 with a new 12" from Italian house maestro Lory D – the third in their Strange Days series. The label are describing the tracks as "soundtracks for the dancefloor apocalypse.,,The world is soon to end, Lory D will be its last man standing." Personally, we think they're more on a heady 90s deep house vibe – the kind of thing you might have caught Weatherall or David Holmes dropping some time round '94, with melancholic synths playing against tough kicks and burbles of acid. Early support has come from Ben UFO, Joy Orbison, Kema and Tale of Us, there are no previews available as yet and the 12" is dropping on Feb 10th – so in the meantime you'll have to settle for a blast of acid from Lory D's Stange Days vol 2 –
