Konono No.1 Team Up With Batida

Konono No.1, the legendary Grammy-winning band from Congo is teaming up with Angolan/Portuguese artist Batida. The album, Konono No.1 Meets Batida, will be released on the Crammed Discs label under the supervision of producer Vincent Kenis and Pedro Coquenão. They all met in Batida’s garage studio in Lisbon along with a series of collaborators and friends. Out on April the 1st, the double LP will feature the guitarist Papa Juju, African vocalist Selma Uamusse and MC AF Diaphra.
