Juan Atkins Returns To Model 500 Alias For First album In 16 Years

Juan Atkins is returning to his Model 500 alias in album form or the first time in 16 years. As he enters his 35th year of techno mastery, Atkins has prepared a new album of robot funk for his own Metroplex label, delivering 9 tracks of soul tinged machine music that veer from the cheeky lil' groovers to full-on jittery dancefloor jams. Surprisngly Atkins' own processed vocals are also very much in effect – and they work… The album, Digital Solutions, is now available to stream over on XLR8R, with a a full release set for February 2nd.
