Jeff Mills Writes, Scores And Directs New Film

Jeff Mills has continued his artistic residency at Paris' Le Louvre gallery by writing, scoring and directing a film exploring ancient Egyptian ideas of death and reincarnation. Titled LIFE TO DEATH AND BACK, four showings of the film are planned to take place in Le Louvre around March 2015. Mills has also revealed that another film, The Exhibitionist 2 – based on his live performance – will be released around the same time. As the title suggests, Exhibitionist 2 is the sequel to the 2004 live DVD of the same name, a no frills recording that saw Mills chopping his way through house, techno and jazz like the 3 deck wizard he is – watch below:
