James Heather To Release ‘Modulations: Ep 1’ On Ahead Of Our Time

Contemporary pianist James Heather has announced his first in a series of EPs to be released on the Ninja Tune imprint Ahead Of Our Time, the relaunched experimental label from Coldcut. 

'Modulations: EP 1' is a seven track EP showcasing the self-penned work of Heather that was written at various times and in "various headspaces", and will be followed by a full album due for release this summer.

Heather will join the ranks of a growing list of acclaimed modern pianists who are swiftly gaining recognition in the public eye, spearheaded by composers such as Max Richter and Nils Frahm.
