Ica To Hold Exhibition On Detroit Techno

The upcoming ICA Fox Reading Room exhibition offers a studied insight into Detroit Techno music.

Devoted to Detroit Techno, the exhibition tracks it's journey from birth in the 70's, through evolution and it's resulting, global dispersion.

Expect to learn about social influences, technological staples and the key figures behind the genre and cultural impact. The exhibition focuses on pioneers, first and second wave artists and concludes with a look at the early 90s' Underground Resistance movement. NTS Radio will partner up with a series of shows.

Detroit: Techno City runs from 27th July to 25th September at the ICA London.
