funkineven preps releaseunder new guise, st julien
That man again, Funkineven. After recent releases on spiritual home Eglo and Bashmore’s Broadwalk, he’s got an EP on his own Apron imprint forthcoming under a new guise St Julien. Slower, as indebted to the darker edges of Synth Pop experimentalism as it is Techno, the 3 track EP (due for release early next month) marks a departure and development for the artist. Lead tack Jupiter is the highlight, a chugging monster of a track, the EP is due for release in February.
Nothing official out there as yet to say that St Julien is actually Funkineven, but if we were prone to gambling, we’d be prepared to put a few quid on it.
