Why the remix?

Well I wasn’t (emphasize past tense) a big fan of Arcade Fire [cue crowd boo noises] but this new record blew me away right from the outset. SO GOOD! When I first heard “Porno” I just has a vision of a tasteful 90’s Hip Hop version.. so I made the track and got a rapper to rap on a similar version to what we have here…. sounded awful!  Braxe suggested I try a dub so I did and we have the result…       

Why is it better than the original.

IT’S NOT but I do hope it will get used for “Hip Hop Karaoke” .. plus it does have a nice deep ring to it that I hope people will enjoy, I’ll add straight up that it’s a tribute to great original you should all go and buy here  

Whats your favourite remix of all time?

Hard question! I LOVE Homework – I’m Into This (Andre Crom & Martin Dawson Remix).. will be classic for ever!  

First and last records you bought?

First… Probably Nirvana’s Nevermind and the last was Purple Rain on Vinyl ..been looking for that for a while!   

Are you a kick drum, hi hat or a snare? And why?

Sampled snare from Wu Tang’s 36 Chambers.. I mean, I’m not that I am yet but that’s the goal! why? because that record is and was a game changer and I aspire to be even 5% as fat as that whole production is musically!       

What are you obsessed with at the moment?

Vintage Italian bikes and avoiding office slavery at all costs!
