Franz Ferdinand Return To Form With New Single

Like all the other haggard old indie dance fans out there, we'll always have a soft spot in our hearts for the art rock peddled by arch Scotsmen Franz Ferdinand. If we're honest though, it was with some trepidation that we hit play on the new single – but -result- it turns out our fears where unfounded. The band have come up with a throwback to their angular disco hayday that manages to sneak in walking disco bass, dry, tight rhythms, and more arched eyebrows than a Roger Moore convention. We're going to call this one 'a return to form' and consider whether maybe we should have bothered listening to the album it was taken from after all…
