London-based producer Flaurese releases his debut EP on Circa ’99

London-based DJ/Producer Flaurese has released his debut EP, The Sake Of Lust, for French house imprint Circa ’99.
Having previously contributed a track to Wavy Recordings Tastemakers compilation and worked his magic on the remix for Rosie Lowe, this marks his first solo outing. On a personal mission to extend the scope of dance music, a genre which is often misconstrued, through his St Lucian and French/Guianese heritage he aims to delve deeper into the crevices of rave culture.
Talking about the release, Flaurese explains that ’this EP feels like my subconscious emotional moments finding their way into sound. It’s my meditation to tell my story through these compositions. I feel a lot of weight off my shoulders hearing this back in different spaces, like It’s finished and I can’t change that. There’s a beauty in being humble enough to let something go without scrutiny.’
‘Sake of Lust’ is out on 18th September 2020 via Circa ‘99.
