First Artists Announced For Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards

2015 will see the 10th anniversary of Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards. With the ceremony set to take place at KOKO, Camden on January 17th, the show promises an 8 hour combination of live performance, DJ sets, and one off collaborations. Last year Worldwide saw awards going to a varied bunch, including Lone, JonWayne, Ady Suleiman, Omar, Mount Kimbie & King Krule, Jimi Tenor and the Young Turks record label – as Peterson puts it, “they were set up to celebrate a side of the music scene that often gets ignored."

So far Lil Silva, Clap! Clap! and Taylor McFerrin have been confirmed as performing, with further names to come in following weeks. £30 early bird tickets are available in limited quantities, grab them from here.
