Are you a young person looking to find your feet in the music industry? Oh, you are? First off let me just say – I'm so, so sorry. Or at least I would be if I wasn't in the same position.

It's not all doom and gloom though. Clearly aware of the trials and tribulations of pursuing a career in music, City Showcase is putting on a *free* music seminar series at the Apple Store.

Finding The Future 2015 starts this Wednesday 18th Nov. It takes place over three days, and you can view the complete schedule here.

Expect panels and presentations covering such topics as careers in digital and new media, reaching the modern consumer, artist management and entrepreneurship, music publishing, and songwriting. Speakers will include executives from companies such as Sony, Universal, Absolute Radio and PRS For Music.

One particularly intriguing event for R$N readers is an interview with Daniel Miller, founder of Mute Records – that's on Wednesday at 5.45pm.

Additionally, the 'Meet The Future' sessions feature heavily tipped new acts, including Louis Mattrs, Emma McGrath and CoCo And The Butterfields. They're on each evening from 7-7.30pm.

Listen to Arca's new track 'EN', because I need a good way to end this article and I just remembered how much I love Mute.

Finding The Future 2015 takes place this week at the Apple Store, 18-20 Nov, between 1.30-7.30pm each day.
