Emotional Response Have Released Compilation Album Diskanted

Today has seen Emotional Response release a double compilation album featuring artists from the Diskant label with tracks from over 7 EPs spanning between 2009-2014. It features three artists from Diskant: The Durian Brothers, Harmonious Thelonious and Don’t DJ.

The cult label was started by The Durian Brothers so they could release their own projects, and are considered the, ‘grandfather to the whole Dusseldorf sound permeating in, around and out of the Salon des Amateurs.’ Harmonious Thelonious and Don’t DJ featured on last years Schleißen series on Emotional Response.

A short 3 date launch celebration by the two labels occurs in Cologne, Offenbach and Dusseldorf with further dates planned at Cafe Oto, London and The Art School, Glasgow to follow. The album is available to download now.
