Electronic Pioneers Yello Unveil Video And Release Details Of New Album

Electronic duo YELLO reveal details of their first album since 2009, TOY, due for release via UMC on September 30th, this will be the duo’s 13th album. Recorded in YELLO studios, Zurich, the swiss electronic pair have already released the first video LIMBO on the album. The video with both Dieter Meier and Boris Blank, repeats the lyrics “Why don’t you leave me alone / Why don’t you answer your phone? … I’m in limbo” Reflects the tone of TOY, playful, super sharp and ultra modern. 

YELLO’s first LP ‘solid pleasures’ released in 1980, has since influenced techno-culture, hip-hop and The Simpsons. With over four decades of making music together, TOY includes special guests including, FiFi Rong, Heidi Happy, Malia and Jeremy Baer. 

The pair have announced their first ever live shows in their 37 year career, four nights in a decommissioned power station, Kraftwerk Berlin, 26th-30th October. Tickets completely sold out in 48 hours.
