david byrne launches petition for musician’s royalties in Us

David Byrne has launched a petition that aims to change the law in the US to force commercial radio stations into paying performance royalties to musicians.
One of the only places in the world that doesn’t pay royalties for radio plays, Byrne has taken it on himself (with the help of many other musicians) to tackle the injustice in the US and take the petition to congress.
A review is currently underway into the laws around radio royalty payments in the US, so signing the petition could actually make a difference.
God bless David Byrne!
