Chris Carter – Moonlight (Neurotic Drum Band Remix)

Another Chris Carter release from the Optimo Music stable, this time in the form of his 1985 track ‘Moonlight’ backed up with remixes, or rather reinterpretations – as they’re not constructed from original parts, by Neurotic Drum Band and Oneohtrix Point Never. The first one to get an airing is Neurotic Drum Band’s version which, I’m fairly sure, will be coming to a dancefloor near you soon. It’s a brooding monster with a stunning synth intro leading into a slick, rhythmic track which flourishes and pulses in all the right places.
