!!! (Chk Chk Chk) Announce New Album

New York dance-punk band !!! (Chk Chk Chk) have announced that they will be releasing a new album on May 19th on Warp Records.

‘Shake The Shudder’ will be a step away from their early recordings that were littered with angsty punk. The album will feature collaborations with a variety of singers including the UK’s Lea Lea who features on the first single ‘The One 2’, a track heavily influenced by 90s jungle.

For the album, !!! introduced a more lenient attitude towards sampling, taking influence from singer Nic Offer’s roommate’s disco breaks and using any synth they could get their hands on saying “there’s no such thing as a bad synth”.
