C.A.N.V.A.S. announce new compilation ‘Cipher’

Originally established in London back in 2014, C.A.N.V.A.S. has evolved into an international network of forward-thinking artists and performers. Exploring experimental sonics and stimulating rhythms, its event series has hosted the likes of MONK, Shark99999 and Elvin Brandhi at past nights. To kickstart 2019, co-founder Lugh tasked an array of London and Berlin-based producers with creating a contextually coherent yet artistically varied collective compilation album. Cipher plays with different processes by which music is codified, catalyzing novel approaches to composition. Co-founders Lugh and Olan Monk feature alongside the likes of Michael Speers, Xao, object blue, Ashley Paul, Ben Vince, Ausschuss and Flora Ying-Wong. Dropping on 22nd February, before being followed by shows in both capital cities, the LP will be released both digitally and physically.
