Bloc Announce Final Weekender Will Be 2016

Bloc weekender has announced that after 10 years this year's will be their final. However this will not be the last we hear from Bloc as such, co-founder Alex Benson now has big plans to build a super-club called Bloc in an ex-industrial building in East London accompanied with surrounding music studios. The festival will run between the 11th-13th March at Butlins Resort and this year will feature Thom Yorke, Jeff Mills, Goldie, Nina Kraviz and Four Tet.
The founders are also encouraging others to follow in their footsteps and create their own raver weekend. Co-founders want to work more on the Bloc label and are planning to drop a JoeFarr album and are working in partnership with LEME to put together an electronic music conference in London next summer.
To celebrate Bloc’s 10th birthday they will be hosting 10 parties in spots across the world from Montreal, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Malta, Paris, Dublin.
