So youve been hankering after an 8 minute disco odyssey in the mould of Scissor Sisters all conquering Comfortably Numb cover for sometime now eh? Well va va voom, look what Blamma! Blamma! have shown up with. Picky guitar chugs, check. Coked out midtempo kicks, check . Comically pompous yacht rock power vocals- you betcha. And the long long loooooooong build is right there on the money. No doubt, this is epic. Probably not good for any Herve fans looking for a bass banger, but if you fancy feeling a bit Tony Montana Miami without forking out for a plane ticket, a time machine and a chainsaw then this is a fine old place to start.
