Bicep To Release New Single ‘Lyk Lyk’ Next Month

Bicep are returning to their own Feel My Bicep label with a 4 track EP of all new material. Along with all the classic house pads, swirling analogue arps and retro-futurist melodies you would expect, the Belfast producers have also introduced a slightly tougher edge, with title track Lyk Lyk even seeing a hint of breakbeat hardcore creeping in. The EP also features the first collaboration between Bicep and blog partner Hammer, the electro influenced 808 breakdown of 'Ice Bowl', of which they wrote
"We are big fans of freestyle and old Baltimore club tracks, starting off with a broken 808 we began jamming together chopping vocals and melodies live, in our heads keeping it fun but rough."
