Austrian producer Martin Riedler to release new LP as Blacklight Chameleon

“Our society is constantly being propelled into a state of instability and uncertainty, which is fertile ground for emotions such fear, anger and shock."

The eight track album is forthcoming on Nutriot Recordings at the tail end of January. The abstract album features elements of electronica, free jazz, krautrock and drone music as the record plays out with intricate detailing and orchestration. Written as a dark, bleak soundtrack to the present state of zeitgeist the world faces it's an apocalyptic showcase of sound design in the 21st century. Much of the tracks were recorded between 2014 and 2017 but now sound more reflective and relevant than ever.

Riedler describes the concept which inspired the record below:

“Our society is constantly being propelled into a state of instability and uncertainty, which is fertile ground for emotions such fear, anger and shock. We are living at such a speed, that we are unable to find peace within ourselves."
