Going live on air every Tuesday since 1999 – making him only 19 when he started the show we've been told, Tim Sweeney's radio show Beats in Space has written itself into the history of electronic music and continues to prevail with its uncompromising and irrepressible music policy. The roll call of BIS guests reads like a who's who of dance music history.
 

More than just a DJ, Tim is an electronic missionary who is unparalleled in bringing music to the masses. He describes his encounters with DJ innovators such as hip-hop legend Steinski as being fundamental to his musical education, an education that's led him to become one of the modern heroes of dance music today.
 

This weekend he joins the excellent ReviveHER for the 3rd time to celebrate their 4th year of throwing very excellent shindigs.
 

We had hoped we'd have a Random Facts from Mr Sweeney but he's been a busy boy… so next week maybe… let's hope.
