Jack Chrysalis: The ‘Wednesday Alternative’ Mix

Part of a new generation of artists manoeuvring in the realms of sub-orientated electronic music, London-based producer Jack Chrysalis has come to the fore with his blend of leftfield techno and rhythmic sound design.
As a DJ he’s taken over the airwaves for Hessle Audio and Bake’s Rinse FM shows, as well as contributing to the acclaimed ‘Blowing Up The Workshop’ mix series, while his production efforts have seen him debut on future-facing imprint Blank Mind in 2019 with his A Kind Robin/Latent Space split 12″.
Throughout Spring of this year he set upon self-releasing three five-track EPs – Inter, Exert and Assent – the latter of which was made over the last couple of years across London in a variety of locations, from the tube, cafes and the park to work lunch breaks, friends’ sofas and in bed.
Following the final release, we invited him to take control of this week’s Wednesday Alternative Mix which takes in crisp UK techno, crunchy textures and harmonic house cuts.
